Onitsuka Tiger asked us to help shift from a largely wholesale model to a more premium, direct-to-consumer presence in Australia. We designed four mono-brand stores in Melbourne and Sydney that express the brand’s Japanese heritage while supporting a full-price, lifestyle-led retail strategy.

At Sydney’s QVB, with tight unit footprints, we created a two-part solution: one store dedicated to apparel and a new, double-width space opposite for footwear - delivering the full collection without compromising brand standards or customer flow.

Working across UK, Japan, China and Australia, we coordinated client, landlord and local approvals, keeping the concept consistent while adapting to local requirements.
Apparel sales are up, which is great. The stores look amazing! Sales are increasing daily.

Using our FLEX process, we moved from brief to fit-out - concept, stakeholder approvals, technical packs and site support - specifying premium, Japanese-influenced materials (Sumi mortar, stainless steel, stone, leather, custom lighting) to deliver a refined, contemporary environment aligned with Onitsuka Tiger’s luxury vision.
